Akebono understands the outsourcing needs of different
customers and sets up its processes and policies towards achieving
customer delight. It offers the following engagement models to meet
various requirements of its customers -

Discrete Project Model |
|
Depending upon the customer plans, Akebono executes the outsourcing
projects in discrete manner.
These project may be either on "fixed bid" basis or on
"time and material" basis. Here, these
projects could be of same or different product / application, domains,
technologies etc.

In this model, the product / application knowledge retention is
not required, as the projects vary from
one type to another. The project team may also vary from one project
to another.

| 2.
Offshore Development Centre (ODC) Model |
|
Depending upon the customer plans, Akebono sets up ODC in its development
centre in Hyderabad.
Here, the projects are expected to be on "time and material"
basis. This model is preferred
when the project team size requirement is more than ten members.

Generally, ODC is preferred in a specific product / application
related outsourcing projects. The knowledge
retention is very essential for the success and continuity of ODC.
Akebono sets-up appropriate
training processes for its ODC Staff in the product / application
towards knowledge retention.

Akebono understands the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of customer
products / applications.
Towards protecting customer IPRs, Akebono is equipped to set-up
its IT infrastructure
in the best possible manner

| 3.
Continuous Support and Development Outsourcing Model |
|
This model takes care of continuous engagement with customer(s)
during their Product / Application
life cycle activities. It is suited for the project team size less
than ten members.
|
|
The knowledge retention is also addressed in this model such that
the outsourcing engagement proceeds successfully and steadily.
|
|
|
Akebono sets up its project teams and IT infrastructure
catering to these different engagement models and manages the outsourcing
projects confirming to customer requirements and plans. Customers
can choose one or more engagement models depending upon their requirements
and plans.
