Delivery
Models
Akebono has set-up different delivery models depending
on the size and complexity of the work. These models are defined
to provide price advantage as well as predictability of delivery
schedules.
Following are the different types of delivery models
Onsite
model
Project team works totally at onsite.
Suggested during initial phases of relationship building.
Suited for knowledge acquisition, training and familiarization of
existing s/w.
Project team works under the guidance and monitoring of customer
representative
Offsite model
Project team works totally at offsite.
It gives better price advantage to the customer.
Suited for small size works and also with clear specification from
customer.
Suited best when the project team has clear understanding of the
domain / subject.
Onsite
- offsite model
Majority of the work is done in offsite to provide price advantage
to the customer.
Specification preparation, field-testing and user training are done
at onsite.
Onsite part of the work is decided based on the size and complexity
of the work.
Onsite
- offsite model with Onsite Coordinator
A project member will be deputed to customer office as ‘onsite coordinator’
Onsite coordinator works as the front office of the project team,
present at offsite.
Followed when timeframe is short or work is technically complex
or voluminous.
